LoFloSorb® – Alkali hydroxide-free absorbent LoFloSorb is a unique alkali hydroxide free, medical grade, carbon dioxide absorbent designed by Intersurgical specifically for clinical use during anesthesia especially at low and minimal fresh gas flows. LoFloSorb eliminates the risk associated with reaction with volatile anesthetics and has a permanent color change. LoFloSorb exhaustion is clearly indicated by a violet color change that remains obvious for a very longtime. This provides a safeguard against exhausted product being mistaken for fresh. These unique features allow the complete product usage without premature changes of the absorbent due to concerns about color regenerations or anesthetic degradation. Sold as 10 pre-filled 1kg canisters per case. For all systems that use Cylinder Canisters.
