MINRAD offers the first fiberoptic laryngoscope set designed specifically for use within the MR environment.The MINRAD Intubating Laryngoscope set has been developed through extensive research into the requirements of both diagnostic and interventional MR intubation. The set has been tested in magnet field strengths up to 3.0 Tesla and has been shown little or no deflection, image distortion or heating during use.
- Laryngoscope handle developed from selected low-magnetic materials.
- Specialized low-magnetic signature lithium battery capable of delivering 4 times the useful life of a standard alkaline battery.
- A 3.5v halogen lamp capable of producing a high intensity, fiber-optic delivered light beam.
