Description
The design of the Reusable Patil Syracuse Oral Airway is as an Aid for fiberoptic endoscopy. Features include:
- Central groove guides the endoscope in the midline.
- Airway can be removed without disturbing the position of the endoscope.
- Slit at the end of the airway allows advancement of the tip of the endoscope beyond epiglottis to visualize the larynx.
- Side channels are provided to permit suctioning without interrupting endoscopy.
- Well tolerated by the patient under topical anesthesia and/or sedation.
